Our Assessments and Resources
Because there are many assessment tools available to discover individual capabilities and motivators, we apply very specifc criteria to select only those that are backed by irrefutable empirical data and consistent with our principals around Positive Psychology and Appreciative Inquiry.
Below are links to the tools we use most frequently. Some, like VIA Character Strengths, offer free evaluations.

Kolbe Corp provides materials, insights, and experts to help people of all ages identify their instinctive talents, develop their confidence, and use their innate abilities to succeed in a plethora of situations, from getting through school to running a business.
Based on a 40-year study of human strengths, Gallup created a language of the 34 most common talents and developed the Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment to help people discover and describe these talents. In 2001, the initial version of this assessment was included with the bestselling management book Now, Discover Your Strengths.

EQ-i® & EQ-i® 360
The Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i®) is the first scientifically validated and most widely used Emotional Intelligence assessment in the world. Based on more than 20 years of research worldwide, the EQ-i examines an individual’s social and emotional strengths and weaknesses.

Strategic self-awareness; provides clarity of leadership strengths, alignment of core values and potential weaknesses/derailment behaviors.
VIA’s Values in Action Inventory of Character Strengths (VIA-IS) is a self-report survey that measures 24 positive traits or values. The questionnaire takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and provides a printable report identifying “signature strengths.” Signature strengths are positive traits or virtues that a person owns, celebrates and frequently exercises.

Coaches Training Institute
Co-active refers to a particular coaching model in which the coach and client are active collaborators. The coaching relationship is an alliance between two equals for the purpose of meeting the client’s needs. There are four cornerstones to the co-active coaching model:

Appreciative Inquiry
An approach used in every sector of society to promote transformational change. At its core, appreciative inquiry is the study and exploration of what gives life to human systems when they function at their best. By linking the positive core of an organization to any change agenda, changes never thought possible are suddenly and democratically mobilized.
